REVERSIBLE (1-LAYER & 2-LAYER)

1-LAYER REVERSIBLE

Our 1- layer reversible jerseys are made from material that is 260 GSM (grams per square meter) and is printed on both sides.  PLEASE NOTE: Results can vary with different colors and designs, and can be slightly see-through.  Teams must choose either 1-layer or 2-layer for all the reversible jerseys that are in a bulk order.  The cost is the same for both 1-layer and 2-layer reversible jerseys.

2-LAYER REVERSIBLE

Our 2- layer reversible jerseys are made by sewing two lighter weight (120 GSM) materials together with 3-needle stitching.  Total weight of the 2-layer jersey is 240 GSM, which is the same weight as our single-sided and 1-layer reversible jerseys.  PLEASE NOTE: Results can vary, however these jerseys are very opaque and will not be see-through.  Teams must choose either 1-layer or 2-layer for all the reversible jerseys that are in a bulk order.   The cost is the same for both 1-layer and 2-layer reversible jerseys.

CoLOR CHART AND MATCHING YOUR JERSEYS

Trying to match a color?

We will ONLY use the color codes from our Derby Beast color chart.  You can request a color chart be mailed to you, or there is one in our sample jersey kit.  

 
We DO NOT guarantee an exact color match, however we can get very very close if you use our color chart. We DO NOT replace jerseys if the color is not what you wanted once your order is printed. We provide a color proof for approval, once approved that is final.

 

If you provide a color code from another source (ie. pantone books or previous team print shop, etc), BE AWARE the colors may not print the same. All print shops are all different, using different techniques, different fabrics, different machines. 

 
Your computer screen DOES NOT show colors accurately.  When printed on jersey material the color will appear differently.  Please see the photo below of the blue example. 


DO NOT rely on colors on your digital screens. You can only rely on the color chart.

How long will it take to get my jerseys?

TLDR: Printing production lead time is 4 weeks. Design time varies due to your teams artwork and approval times.

The timeline from your ‘Stage 1 – Design and Mock-Up’ date to receiving your jerseys depends on a few steps. Here’s a breakdown:


🖌️ Stage 1: Design & Mock-Up

  • 2–3 Days: After your design date, you’ll receive the first mock-up within 2–3 business days.
  • Revision Time: Any back-and-forth revisions between your team and the designer will affect this step’s timeline. (The faster revisions are finalized, the faster we can proceed.)

 

📄 Stage 2: Order Form

  • 48 Hours: Once the final design is approved, we’ll email you an order form within 48 hours.
  • Collection Time: Gathering your team’s orders may vary depending on how quickly you submit the completed form.

 

🛠️ Stage 3: Production

  • 3–4 Weeks: After we receive your completed order form, production begins. Production typically takes 3–4 weeks depending on the season.

 

🚚 Stage 4: Shipping

  • 1 Week: Shipping usually takes about one week.
  • Note: Delays caused by holidays, weather, or unforeseen shipping issues are beyond our control and may affect the timeline.

How do I get a team store, and what will it offer?

After you submit a bulk order, you will receive access to your personalized team store in about a week. 
Whatever item is submitted in the bulk order will go in your team store.

To add an item to your team store, submit a minimum order of 5 for that item.

Is there Deposit and a minimum order required?

Yes, there is a required minimum order for both R1 packages and R2 packages.

R1 Package Items- Game Jerseys, Scrimmage Jerseys, Reversible Armbands, Helmet Covers and Reversible Bandanas: at least 5 jerseys must be ordered, includes any style of jersey combination.
R2 Package Items- Zipper Jackets, Sleeveless Hoodies, Track Pants, Pocket Compression Shorts/Capris/Leggings, and Loose-Fit Shorts.

Single items can be re-ordered at any time through your Team Store, but only after a bulk order was previously placed.

Here's what you need to know:

  • R1 Items Initial Bulk Order:
    • Minimum of 5 jerseys must be ordered.
    • Can include any combination of different style of jerseys.
  • R2 Items Initial Bulk Order:
    • Minimum of 5 items must be ordered.
    • There is a $25 set up fee per line item if less than five orders are placed for that line item. For example: If 4 Zipper Jackets and 3 Track Pants are ordered, there will be two set up fees assessed totaling $50. If 5 Zipper Jackets and 6 Track Pants are ordered, there are no set up fees. This only applies to the initial bulk order of newly designed R2 items.

    PLEASE NOTE
    Derby Beast provides custom artwork and a Team Store at no additional cost when qualifying Bulk Orders are placed. 
    A $100 design deposit is required for each design package (R1 and R2 are separate design packages) before the design process begins.

    The deposit is refunded when a qualifying Bulk Order is placed within 90 days of the Bulk Order Store opening. If the minimum order requirement is not met within 90 days, the deposit is retained to help cover the custom design and administrative work already completed, regardless of whether the team ultimately chooses to use the designs.


     

    • R1 – Jerseys & Accessories: Minimum of 5 jerseys must be ordered to qualify for the $100 design deposit refund.
    • R2 – Apparel: Minimum of 5 total R2 items in any combination must be ordered to qualify for the $100 design deposit refund. 
    • Each individual R2 item must have at least 5 ordered to avoid a $25 setup fee for that item.

How and when do I pay for my initial bulk order?

Payment Timeline:

  • 100% of payment is due when the bulk order is placed.
  • Once payment is made, production begins.

Delivery Timeline:

  • Jerseys arrive in 4–5 weeks from the payment date.

Bulk Orders:
